Just kidding...but this is good.

This is really good, Samuel. Very pertinent to my recent life too. It often feels like I am drowning in Christian content, however I try to curate it, and much of the content doesn't even feel that useful. Even if I know it was written from the heart and with the reader in mind. Which then makes me feel guilty and, yep, confused.

And, if we are so busy consuming Christian content along with the usually chores of jobs, marriages, families, and church, when do we ever have time to practice what we are consuming? If we don't practice what we learn, how can we say we know it?

So true. Sometimes I scroll IG and all the suggested Christian accounts keep telling me NONSTOP to appreciate the small moments, to read my Bible, to trust, to stand firm, to pray, to have joy, etc. etc. etc. Of course these are fabulous/true things, but I get really sad because I know 8 years ago I would have consumed it all and been exhausted and weary at the end of the day.

Figuring out how to add substance and not to add to the noise is something I go back and forth on, but I think you're right on with the posture.
